After passing through the Gate of the Four Arithmetic Operations unharmed, Jimmy and his pals are ambushed at the Gate of the Square Root as they try to rescue their friend Alice. Then they remember root functions, and cover the dizzying, continuous array of numbers with root symbols. The numbers immediately quiet down. After escaping from the Gate of the Square Root, the group travels through a one-dimensional world (dots and lines), a two-dimensional world (sides), and a three-dimensional world (figures). They realize the principle of figures, but get shut in a three-dimensional pyramid by mistake. Will they ever be able to rescue Alice?
