This caused considerable confusion among educators and parents. Military actions included Viet Nam, Korea and Desert Storm. Recently we obliterated Afghanistan and are still entangled in a mess called Iraq. These stories make no attempt to deal directly with the above mentioned events, rather how a middle class family survived. Your author was a high school teacher, administrator and college professor, hoping to give three wonderful daughters an education suitable for their time.
