Michele has also been involved in developing transitional learning materials for native speakers and second language speakers for the health care fields for 18 years. As an active participant in the Universal Design for Learning initiative on the RTC campus, Michele tries to create materials that address learner barriers and improve access to learning for all students. Michele has authored several books, both of which she uses within her own classrooms.
